The Kimberley has some of the most beautiful Country in Australia. The pindan(reddish brown) colour of the rocks and the clean, crisp sand show many shades of pink, orange and brown. Colours of reds and oranges are the warmth and strength. Surrounded by the ocean that provides the cool calming turquoise blue to allow the sense of relaxation. This Country fills your heart in everyway. Songs are sung about the saltwater Country and the wild Fitzory river, both are images of strength and how the local people are connected to land and water. The tides allow for the constant movement of salt and fresh water, this entwines the two but always they represent themselves whether salt or fresh water.
